What is Awhsi?
Awhsi is a digital collection, expecially for Christian Hymns, aiming to provide access to the hymns of smaller ethnics or a smaller church on internet. It's founded on 2nd Octorber 2025 by a group of four volunteers. They have successfully added four books on this platform and around 1200 songs from two different ethnics.
What is the purpose of founding Awhsi?
There are many different ethnics in Myanmar with their own Literature and hymns. Their hymns are,however, rarely available on internet, especially on Google and ios app because there is no a dedicated platform to collect and upload to internet. Therefore, a group of four young people volunteeringly founded Awhsi to fill that gap and to bring all different hymns on place to be accessible with free and ease, however there are some costs.In addition, Awhsi is still working hard to bring them on moblie phones later this year that every ethnics be able to view their own on one place.
Can I upload my songs?
While all Christin hymns are allowed to upload, Awhsi has a strict rule to choosing the song type you can upload. If you are only an individual singer or writer, you are not allowed yet to upload your songs to our platform. This is frustrating new for individual. However, if you are the representation of a church or organisation and willing to volunteer on behalf of your church or organisation, you are wholely welcome to be part of contributors on our platform. The admin team will guide you from the start to the end. There is no fee for uploading using our platform. Instead , we welcome your contribution.
Can I be part of Awhsi ?
At Awhsi, everyone can participate volunteeringly and wholy welcome. As it is ethnics base platform, we welcome everyone from different ethnics and this is also what we are trying bring people on this. You can help us by collecting different ethnics hymns book or helping us find some one from different ethnics or you can volunteeringly upload those ethnics songs to our database
